Children’s clubs, an area dedicated to the very young
We welcome children to our children’s club in the Vosges, open on Ascension and Whitsun weekends, and throughout July and August. Mornings and afternoons (except Saturdays), two two-hour slots punctuate their days withfun and educational activities designed for each age group.
Imagine your children leaving in the evening, cheeks rosy from making, playing and discovering – while you enjoy a well-deserved break. That’s exactly what we wanted to create: a space for them, a moment for you.
Group evenings and events
On Sundays, we welcome you with a family welcome drink: presentation of the campsite, meeting with the entertainment team and discovery of the week’s schedule. A simple way to get your bearings and feel at home from the very first evening.
Throughout the season, we organize stretching and dance sessions, sports tournaments, shows, concerts and themed evenings. Games and entertainment for young and old also punctuate the days – there’s always something going on at Domaine des Bans.
The water park and swimming pool at the heart of campsite life
Heated outdoor swimming pool, open all season
Our heated outdoor swimming pool is open from the opening of the campsite, whatever the season. It’s complemented by a covered, shallow paddling pool designed with the little ones in mind. Diving into water at the right temperature even at the beginning or end of the season – that’s one of the details that really makes a difference to your stay.
Access is adapted for people with reduced mobility, with safety ramp and barrier on request. There’s something for everyone our aquatic area.
July and August water park
In July and August, our 600 m² water park opens its doors. Toboggans, pentagliss, current river, whirlpools: the area is transformed into a fully-fledged water playground. A team of supervisors is on hand to supervise your children, so you can enjoy your vacation more lightly when you know your children are well looked after.
Please note that the pool and water park are two separate areas. A sweet kiosk – crêpes, ice creams – is also open in the afternoons in July and August, at the aquatic area.
Sports fields, games and outdoor activities
The multi-sports field and play areas
Our multi-sports ground combines soccer, volleyball, pétanque and padel. Padel equipment is available from reception, subject to a deposit. It’s as much a meeting place as a competition ground – and the tournaments organized by the entertainment team give it a great deal of energy.
Younger guests can enjoy several play areas, inflatable games and a trampoline. An arcade is also available on site. You’ll enjoy watching everyone find their own rhythm, according to the mood of the moment.
The dog-friendly campsite
We don’t forget our four-legged friends. A fully fenced dog park is available, with an agility course and a pond for dogs to swim in. Travelling with your pet without ever having to choose between comfort and freedom – that’s what we offer at Domaine des Bans.

Hiking, mountain biking and Vosges lakes nearby
The campsite is located in the heart of the Vosges Regional Nature Park, in an exceptional natural environment. The first cycle paths – including the “voie verte” accessible by mountain bike – are just ten minutes away. Hiking is omnipresent: marked trails, fir undergrowth, panoramic ridges…
Bicycle hire is available on site, so you can explore the area without any hassle. The Gérardmer lake, just a few kilometers away, provides access to a wide range of water-based activities, including pedal-boating, kayaking and supervised swimming in summer. There’s also a large lake on the estate itself, reserved for fishing – a quiet pleasure, authorized with a fishing licence.
Family outings in the Vosges
Close to the campsite, families will find plenty to enrich their stay: accrobranche, canoeing, paintball, paragliding, karting, quad biking… The Vosges offers a huge playground for outdoor and sports enthusiasts. For a more structured day out, the Fraispertuis City theme park – with its Wild West atmosphere – is just 30 km away. Europa Park is about an hour and a half away.
